I'm really disappointed. 4th of July, foggy, and raining? Parties to attend but also plans with my family. That kind of great disappointment. I know I'm privileged. But there. I'll miss fireworks, and the parties. Sigh.

FROM THE PAGE: By 1910, Schiele was already well on his way to artistic autonomy. Colour gained in individuality, the idiom developed into "expressive art" - expressionism in the real sense of the word. Paintings became embodiments of states of mind, the artist made his "suffering into the suffering of everyone..." (Rudolf Leopold, Egon Schiele, p. 76). The earliest comprehensive Schiele landscapes exhibition I could find was at Leopold Museum...link here:
