My Muxtape (All Chick Power Hour: Songs by Birds But Not Birdsongs)
If you really want to hear about it, the first thing you'll probably want to know is where I was born, and what my lousy childhood was like, and how my parents were occupied and all before they had me, and all that David Copperfield kind of crap, but I don't feel like going into it, if you want to know the truth.

this is great. i mean no matter what you think of biofuel's future, it's nice to see someone in the airline industry looking for any form of alternative to fossil fuel.

From the page FEB 02 2008: "...Exxon Mobil also topped its own record for profit in a single quarter, posting net income of $11.7 billion for the final three months of the year - about $1 billion more than the same period in 2005, the previous quarterly record. The annual profit was enough, at $3 a gallon, to buy nearly four 15-gallon fill-ups for the roughly 243 million registered passenger vehicles on American roads."

From the page: "Venezuela accounted for about 12 percent of U.S. crude oil imports in November, the latest figures available from the U.S. Energy Department. The 1.23 million barrels a day from Venezuela makes that country the U.S.'s fourth-biggest oil importer behind Canada, Saudi Arabia and Mexico." And now...Chavez, again, threatens to stop oil exports (for us, imports) to the U.S. Corporations + governments in bed = situations like this.

Just as it gets cold in NYC, and most of the N. United States...a little reading on fossil fuel and geopolitics to remind us to wear a freakin' sweater and turn the thermostat down!
