From the page: "Pop icon Madonna is using kabbalah to brainwash Yankee star Alex Rodriguez into believing they are "soulmates," the ballplayer's estranged wife is telling friends." WTF?!?!?!??! This is Independence Day not April Fool's, right?

From the page: "While China has faced violent attacks from Muslim groups, unflinching social controls have prevented the emergence of a sustained terrorist threat in the country. Some analysts have suggested that widely publicized discoveries of weapons caches and terrorist plots are part of a larger effort to present domestic unrest as a form of international terrorism that the world should help China suppress."

The idea of "owning" property in virtual space makes me feel sort of like we learned nothing from the Native Americans. Sad. Still...it is interesting that "virtual" institutions are now being built, and planned, and have the potential to educate outside of schooling.
From the page: "Nasa already has a presence in the 3D virtual universe. The agency owns an island in Second Life where individuals and groups with an interest in the space programme can meet, share ideas and conduct experiments."

Just as it gets cold in NYC, and most of the N. United States...a little reading on fossil fuel and geopolitics to remind us to wear a freakin' sweater and turn the thermostat down!
