The Pennysylvania native, and current Los Angelena, will release her first full-length record, A Good Day on Blue Note, June 10.
TheAlice and your humble narrator (I) went to hear her. Results? We're impressed with her vocal ability, cuteness and sincerity as a performer and songwriter.

It's good acoustic stuff. This woman's voice is going to put to shame a lot of less soulful, and less controlled indie songstress types. She's right up there with Vashti Bunyan, Regina Spektor, Yael Naim, Sarah MacLachlan, and The Cranberries. Hits all the high notes gracefully, powerful at times, but never heavy.
